(AutoCheck). Experian are better know for there credit check services but have now been providing vehicle checks to both the
motor trade and private individuals for a number of years and are highly respected in both the motor and finance
industry industy.
Only
hpi and Experian AutoChecks has access to outstanding vehicle finance data.
MyCarCheck form CDL (Cheshire Data Systems). Although MyCarCheck are one
of the newer used vehicle check companies in the UK they have quickly established themselves as one of the
big three in the UK. CDL based in Stockport provide data to many UK insurance companies and more recently price comparison
sites such as MoneySupermarket, Go Compare, Compare the Market and U Switch. MyCarCheck do not offer an outstanding finance
check as they do not currently have access to this data however they are the cheapest of the current car check companies and
instead offer finance protextion (see my car check for details). Prices
of used car checks can vary considerably below is the current price and offers form the 3 major companies.

Do
not risk buying a used car without checking the history first. If you buy a car with outstanding finance it does not legaly
belong to you and can be taken from you. The same goes for a car which has been reported as stolen.
